What it takes to be good

Dedication

To be a good soccer player you have to be dedicated and willing to give your time to become better.  Getting to practice and games takes a lot of time. And even once you get there you have to spend at least 20 minutes or more stretching. Soccer takes dedication and determination, but it pays off in the end when you become an excellent player.

Eat to play

Eating right

The way you play depends on what you ate before that big game. If you ate a slice of pizza and some soda you’re going to have cramps and quickly tire. But eat right, like an apple, then nothing will stop you.

Ouchies

The toll on your body

Soccer is a great sport. It’s by far the most thrilling. The fun of the game attracts many people causing them to play a lot of soccer. But, If you play too much soccer you become very prone to injuries. For instance I had this tournament last month and played 3 games in one day. It took a great amount of energy and made me very sore. I played 2 games the next day and pulled my calf muscle in my left leg.  My coach recommended that I should take some time off and next time I have a big tournament make sure I stretch thoroughly and if I’m feeling to sore, sit out and rest.

Looking good.

Fashion preferences

One thing I don’t think is very important in a game but, still is very fun to go about is style. How I look in a game does not affect my play but still means a lot to me. I like to look professional with my shift tucked in and socks rolled up but the thing I am most concerned about is how my cleats look with my socks.

I can’t stand someone who wears black cleats and white socks but, absolutely love white cleats with white socks. Either way style has nothing to do with how a person plays but, it is always fun to look good.
